I graduated from UTeach in 2022 and have been tutoring full time ever since. I got my start because of Sandy, and what began as a way to help a handful of students quickly grew into something much bigger than either of us could handle alone. That's how Pro Teacher Tutors was born. I believe every student is capable of more than they think, and there's nothing more rewarding than watching that click into place.

I started tutoring at 17 when my PreCal teacher half-jokingly asked, "Do you want to just teach this class?" — and honestly, I never really stopped. I tutored my way through a bachelor's and master's in electrical engineering, kept at it through a decade as a working engineer, and fit in sessions during my years as a stay-at-home mom. Over the years I'm also experienced in recognizing the signs of dyscalculia and designing accommodations for those students.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made before noon on the day of your session are free of charge. Notifying your tutor between noon and 4 PM incurs a $30 cancellation fee, and cancellations after 4 PM are charged a $60 cancellation fee. For weekend or morning sessions, cancellations must be made by the night before your session or there will be a $60 cancellation fee.

Registration is quick and easy — just complete our online Student Registration form. Once submitted, we'll follow up to match your student with the right tutor based on subject, grade level, and scheduling needs.

We cover a wide range of subjects including Math (Elementary through Calculus and Statistics), Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), History (US History, World History, Government, Economics), English, Foreign Language, Computer Science, and Engineering.

We serve K–12 students at every level. Whether your child needs help with elementary fundamentals or high school AP/IB exam prep, we have tutors who specialize at every stage.

Certified Teachers are licensed educators with formal classroom experience and subject-area certification. Content Specialist and Future Teachers are experts in their area of study and/or university students currently enrolled in teacher preparation programs (such as UT's UTeach program) who are actively working toward certification.

Content Specialist and Future Teachers: $75/hr in-person  |  $65/hr online

Certified Teachers: $95/hr in-person  |  $85/hr online

There are no packages or hidden fees — you pay only for the time your student needs.

Yes! Online tutoring is available to students anywhere — not just the greater Austin area. Virtual sessions offer flexible scheduling, eliminate travel time, and can be just as effective as meeting in person.

In-person sessions are available at the student's home or in a convenient public space like a coffee shop. We service the greater Austin area including: Austin, Westlake, Bee Cave, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Pflugerville. If you're located outside of Austin, online tutoring is available to you regardless of where you live.

We offer four formats to fit your needs:
  • Homework Help — Regular weekly support to keep your student on track.
  • Test Preparation — Covering regular chapter and unit tests, final exams, and AP exam prep.
  • In-Person Tutoring — Face-to-face sessions in the Austin area.
  • Online Tutoring — Flexible virtual sessions available from anywhere.

Weekday Sessions
